Well you see, about eighteen years ago my mom and dad...oh wait, too far back!
I got 'The Thief Lord' for x-mas a few years ago, and read it and loved it. In the back of this book, there was the first half-a-chapter or so of a book called, 'Inkheart'. It sounded MILDLY interesting, so I read the preview. It was good, and I wanted to read the rest. A while later, while at what is now my place of employment, I heard Amy say, 'Inkheart? Cool!' I spun around, swiped it out of her hand, and checked it out. I read it. Straight through. Couldn't put it down.
Now, I went into this book biased: by all accounts, my favorite character SHOULD have been Meggie. She was a young female protagonist with magical powers--my usual fave character. But the second I read 'Dustfinger' I had this like...picture just flash in my head and I like latched on to him for no reason I have yet been able to discern. And the more I read, the more I liked him (really odd since most people get to HATE him after a while)! By the end of the book, I was OBSESSED. Couldn't stop trying to draw him, couldn't not think: what's he like? What's his past? What was HIS 'Inkheart' about? And well, a little while later Email Tag was born. And time passed and now we're here. Actually there's more, but I won't bore you with it. It has to do with the discovery of 'Inkspell'--which really ended with me crying for three days but *shrug*.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.
